Sant Sebastià — Palma's own festival
Bonfires in every square, grilled sausage, and live music until it gets embarrassing. Palma's patron saint, in January.
On the night of 19 January Palma lights bonfires in the squares, everyone brings something to grill, and there are stages in half a dozen places across the city.
It is not for tourists. It is the city doing the thing it does every year, and visitors are welcome to stand in it. Dress warm, eat before you think you are hungry, and do not plan anything for the next morning.
